Life is an accumulation of moments. The small acts and moments that make me feel infinitely diminished matter.

For years, while raising children and staying at home, my artistic inspiration resided in the surroundings of my home. In the mundane and repetitive daily life, where I often overlooked myself, I wanted to find my identity in the art school. Lacking sparkling ideas and hip sensibilities, I just created a maquette from found objects in my everyday life. I collected leftover mushrooms from cooking, yarn balls from my children’s crafts, fallen pieces of wood chips and branches from the playground and then arranged them meticulously and took hundreds of photos and have painted them.

Through this process, I witness moments of complex life in every trivia thing. This is how I celebrate my life.
